COVID-19 Operational Update – updated 05/01/2021

In line with the latest national lockdown announced on 4th January 2021, our offices remain closed to the public until further notice.  However all advisers and support staff are fully operational and our systems are cloud based with all data securely backed up remotely.  We operate as close to normal as is possible.

Our phone system is cloud based and of course we have access to email in the usual way, so you shouldn’t experience any difficulty getting hold of us.  We are also happy to arrange meetings over video calling platforms such as Zoom, so you can still enjoy a face-t0-face relationship, without any of the hassle of coming to see us.

The FCA have instructed lenders that they should offer borrowers who continue to be financially affected a further payment holiday of up to 3 months on your mortgage.  This is in addition to the initial 3 month holiday on offer since March 2020.  If you are directly or indirectly affected then you should be eligible to request a holiday.  Further support may be available on a case by case basis and you should contact your lender directly to find out what they are able to offer.

You should consider whether you need a payment holiday as interest will still be charged to your mortgage account and the overall amount you will pay will increase.  We are happy to discuss your options so please feel free to contact us – but if you are certain you would like a holiday then you must request this directly from your lender.

THANK YOU for your support and understanding.  This is a challenging period for all of us, personally and professionally.  We are committed to supporting our clients as much as possible, and as a firm we are committed to supporting our hardworking team of advisers and support staff.
