COVID-19 Operational Update – updated 10/06/2020

WE ARE FULLY OPERATIONAL

Our offices in Brighton and Hove are now closed until further notice, but all advisers and support staff are set up at home and fully operational.  All our systems are cloud based and all data is securely backed up remotely.  We are all will operate as close to normal as is possible.

Our phone system is cloud based and of course we have access to email in the usual way, so you shouldn’t experience any difficulty getting hold of us.

 

MORTGAGE PAYMENT HOLIDAYS

The FCA have now instructed lenders that they should offer borrowers who continue to be financially affected a further payment holiday of up to 3 months on your mortgage.  This is in addition to the initial 3 month holiday on offer since March.  If you are directly or indirectly affected then you should be eligible to request a holiday.

You should consider whether you need a payment holiday as interest will still be charged to your mortgage account and the overall amount you will pay will increase.  We are happy to discuss your options so please feel free to contact us – but if you are certain you would like a holiday then you must request this directly from your lender.
