COVID-19 Operational Update – updated 15/07/2020

WE ARE FULLY OPERATIONAL

We returned to our offices in Brighton and Hove on a rotational basis on 6th July but we remain closed to the public until further notice.  All advisers and support staff are fully operational and our systems are cloud based with all data securely backed up remotely.  We operate as close to normal as is possible.

 

CONTACTING US

Our phone system is cloud based and of course we have access to email in the usual way, so you shouldn’t experience any difficulty getting hold of us.  We are also happy to arrange meetings over video calling platforms such as Zoom.

 

MORTGAGE PAYMENT HOLIDAYS

The FCA have now instructed lenders that they should offer borrowers who continue to be financially affected a further payment holiday of up to 3 months on your mortgage.  This is in addition to the initial 3 month holiday on offer since March.  If you are directly or indirectly affected then you should be eligible to request a holiday.

You should consider whether you need a payment holiday as interest will still be charged to your mortgage account and the overall amount you will pay will increase.  We are happy to discuss your options so please feel free to contact us – but if you are certain you would like a holiday then you must request this directly from your lender.
