What can I get for £500k in Devon?

If the pace of London isn’t for you then how about moving to Devon?

It is that bit closer than Cornwall, so you can go ‘up country’ quicker than if you buy a place in Truro, for example.

So for half a million you could buy a substantial, extended semi-detached family home with four bedrooms, a garage, ample parking and a large enclosed rear garden, in the village of Blackhorse close to Exeter.

There is a hot tub beneath a gazebo, a summer house and other timber buildings with a large, healthy, level lawn that has plenty of space for children to play.
