Qualifications

  • DipFA - The Diploma for Financial Advisers

    The Diploma for Financial Advisers (DipFA) is a mandatory, Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) approved Level 4 qualification that provides individuals with the essential skills and knowledge needed to legally practice as a professional financial adviser in the UK. 

  • CeRER Certificate in Regulated Equity Release

    This qualification develops an extensive understanding of the environment, products available and the circumstances where equity release is an appropriate solution for the customer.

  • CeMAP Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice

    The industry benchmark qualification for mortgage advisers, recognised as a mark of excellence and professionalism. Individuals attain the required understanding of mortgage policy and practice and how to effectively apply this when advising a customer.

Leo at work

After studying English at university, I moved to financial services around 2011. I have worked in multiple areas; banking, mortgage, and financial planning over the last 15 years in both mutual and private sectors.

I now specialise in long term, goal-oriented financial planning for all types of clients, focussing on pensions, investments, estate planning and protection advice.

Leo outside of work

I live just outside of Brighton & Hove. Married, with a son and a dog.

I enjoy walking, reading, films, tennis (playing), football (watching).

I love learning, and always like to be working on something new. Currently, I’m study towards Chartered status.

My son is autistic, and I try to be active with advocacy and support groups.

Thailand (we have family there, so it’s always a good trip)

My pet peeve is:

People who can’t laugh at themselves

The three small things that make my day better are:

Walking the dog, crossing things off my to-do list, a negroni (after 5pm)
